Corrections Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Alu News welcomes good-faith reports of possible errors. Our goal is to correct material inaccuracies clearly and promptly.
What to report
Please identify the article URL, the specific statement you believe is wrong, why it is inaccurate, and any reliable source that supports the correction. Do not submit private or sensitive personal information in a public comment.
How to report an error
Use the Contact Us process or leave a brief comment on the relevant article marked Correction Request. Comments may be held for moderation and do not need to be published for the request to be reviewed.
Our review
We will assess the original source, available evidence, the significance of the issue, and whether the content was accurate at publication. We may contact relevant sources or qualified experts when appropriate.
Types of updates
A material factual error will be corrected in the article and may receive a correction note explaining what changed. A developing story may receive an update note. Minor spelling, punctuation, style, or formatting changes may be made silently when they do not alter meaning.
Clarifications
If content is factually accurate but reasonably open to misunderstanding, we may add context or clarify the language.
Retractions and removals
Content may be retracted or removed when it is fundamentally unreliable, unlawful, dangerously misleading, or creates an overriding privacy or safety risk. We do not normally remove accurate published material merely because it is inconvenient.
No guarantee of requested outcome
Submitting a request does not guarantee a change. We will make editorial decisions based on evidence, public interest, fairness, law, and this policy.
