Editorial Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Alu News aims to publish accessible, responsible, and useful reporting and explanatory content. This policy describes the standards that guide our work.
Accuracy and sourcing
We aim to verify material facts, use credible sources, distinguish confirmed information from allegations or opinion, and avoid presenting uncertainty as certainty. Primary and authoritative sources are preferred for health, safety, legal, and scientific claims.
Fairness and context
We seek to provide enough context for readers to understand a story and avoid misleading omissions. People and organizations criticized in significant reporting should be represented fairly and, where practical, given an opportunity to respond.
Headlines and images
Headlines should reflect the substance of the article and should not materially exaggerate the available evidence. Captions and images should not create a false impression about the people, places, or events discussed.
Health and safety
Health and safety content is written for general information. We avoid individualized diagnosis or treatment instructions and encourage readers to consult qualified professionals for personal decisions or emergencies.
Independence and conflicts
Editorial judgment should not be secretly controlled by advertisers, sponsors, affiliates, or personal relationships. Relevant commercial or personal connections will be disclosed when they could reasonably affect how readers evaluate content.
Artificial intelligence and editing tools
We may use digital tools to assist with research, transcription, translation, drafting, editing, or formatting. Human editorial responsibility remains necessary for publication, and factual claims should be checked against reliable sources.
User comments
Comments are separate from editorial content and may be moderated for abuse, spam, privacy, misinformation, or legal risk. Publication of a comment does not mean Alu News endorses it.
Corrections
Substantive errors will be corrected promptly and transparently in line with our Corrections Policy. Minor spelling, grammar, or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice.
